Welcome.

I’m Dr. Clare Sarah Goodridge—a certified Human Performance Coach, Philosophical Health Counsellor, and Leadership & Wellbeing Innovation Consultant.

My work spans the full arc of life, from unlocking peak performance to guiding people through the deeper work of meaning-making and life’s profound transitions.

Over the past decade, I’ve worked with leaders, teams, creatives, and visionaries from organisations like Google, Meta, Microsoft, Disney, and Singularity University, and trained over 200 coaches as Head Performance Coach at the Flow Research Collective. Through this journey, I’ve seen that true flourishing isn’t just about achieving more—it’s about aligning what we do with who we are.

My approach integrates the science of human flourishing—how people grow, achieve, and live well—with the emerging field of philosophical health, which explores how we reflect, make sense of life, and act in harmony with our values. Together, these create a harmonised interplay between action and reflection, performance and purpose, living and leaving well.

I’m deeply passionate about supporting people at pivotal moments of change—young people stepping into adulthood, individuals navigating major life or career transitions, those who once found meaning in high performance but are now seeking something deeper, and people—and their families—preparing for the end of life.

My approach creates space to pause, ask braver questions, and reconnect with what truly matters:

  • What if exhaustion isn’t a personal failing, but a sign that the way we’re living no longer makes sense?

  • What if the version of “success” we’ve been chasing is the very thing keeping us unfulfilled?

  • What would it mean to build a life—and a legacy—guided by meaning and integrity, even when the world pushes us in the opposite direction?

  • What if true success is measured not by status or output, but by the impact we leave on the far future?

  • What would it mean to expand your joyspan—to feel more moments of connection, gratitude, and wonder in everyday life?

  • What if a meaningful life is less about constant achievement and more about living in alignment with your values, contributing to something bigger than yourself?

This same ethos shapes my work as a death doula. In life’s final chapter, the questions shift but the essence remains: What matters now? What do I want to leave behind and gift into the future? How can my final days reflect the story of my life?

Across every stage—early adulthood, midlife reinvention, or end‑of‑life transitions—my work is about helping people create lives of meaning, agency, and beauty, so they can live—and leave—the world in a way that feels true to who they are.

I founded The Future of Flourishing and LifeBeat. to bring this integrated approach to the world, creating programs, coaching, and communities that help people and systems flourish—across every stage of life. My style is playful, practical, and soulfully rigorous, weaving science, philosophy, and creativity into spaces where people can think clearly, feel deeply, and choose how they want to live—and, when the time comes, how they want to leave.

I’m Lisa Dobrin, MBA, and it’s genuinely great to meet you!

Throughout my life, and particularly over the past few years, I've witnessed how much harder and increasingly complex our worlds have become – both within and around us. The push-pulls, stressors, demands and tensions constantly distract us from what matters most – our humanness and our ability to connect.

My early years were tough, bookended by dysfunction, disconnection and at times great despair. Trite, but truthful, these experiences became my greatest guides and teachers, building within me instinctive skills, resilience to strategise, courage to negotiate, and endurance to navigate any challenge, situation or environment I was faced with and overcame.

My journey hasn't been easy, conventional or linear. Neither have my successes and failures which have led me from being heart-wrenchingly unemployable, to the privileged positions of Chairperson and CEO. Yes, I have the MBA and enough of the 'right' letters after my name to turn-the-heads-of, engage and impress the people who care about that kinda stuff.

I speak almost fluent corporate, NGO, government and private business. I understand organisational realities, balance sheets and triple bottom lines. I've secured and generated tens of millions of dollars, made boardroom decisions impacting tens of thousands of people, led organisations through unprecedented transformation, and worked alongside communities facing challenges you wouldn't wish on your enemy. Through it all, I've learned that beneath the shiny titles and endless seeking of achievement and ambitions, we're all seeking the same thing: to meaningfully belong, purposefully contribute, and genuinely connect.

I create environments where transformation happens naturally – with an ability to read the room and sense what's not being said. I intuitively understand what people, organisations and communities need to reach their next level or achievement.

I translate bold strategies into unintimidating steps and transform audacious visions into day-to-day reality, while demonstrating how to be a leader, parent, colleague or friend who is both strong and strategic while remaining vulnerable and authentic.
